Dutchna Tax Consultancy Ltd. is owned and managed by Paul Verhaegh. A native of the trading nation of the Netherlands, Paul has always been fascinated by the intricacies of international tax and business. His education includes two master’s degrees, one in Dutch law and one in tax law at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
By founding Dutchna Tax Consultancy Ltd. (‘Dutchna’ refers to being Dutch in North America) in Canada Paul puts his knowledge and experience into practice for the benefit of both private and corporate customers. Dutchna tax consultancy Ltd. provides solutions to clients with complex domestic and cross-border tax issues.
Besides running a tax practice, Paul is a seasoned writer on tax and legal issues. One of his writing projects is co-authoring the annual Gift and Inheritance Tax Guide (‘Schenken en Erven Almanak’) published by Amsterdam-based publisher Reed Business Information, a branch of RelX, and in the Netherlands colloquially known as Elsevier.
Paul resides in Canada but practices both in Calgary, Canada and the Netherlands, in order to serve clients at both sides of the Atlantic.
